Use of our website and the sale and purchase of goods from the website are governed by our terms and conditions as set out below. “We” or “Our” means Ride a Bike. “You” or “your” means the person accessing, using or ordering from our website over the Internet.
1. Prices, description and availability of goods
All prices are shown in GBP (Pounds Sterling). All goods are sold subject to availability. Both price and availability information is subject to change without notice, hence any subsequent purchases of the same product cannot be guaranteed at the same price. Where goods are temporarily out of stock we will endeavor to contact you so that you may choose between a refund on the item, having it shipped when it is back in stock or selecting an alternative product. Whilst we take the utmost care to ensure the product descriptions, pictures, information and prices are accurate we do not accept liability for any inaccuracies, errors or omissions. Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items displayed on our site may be mispriced. No contract exists between you and Ride a Bike until we accept the order by taking payment for the goods. We maintain the right to decline orders without giving an explanation. Colours may vary slightly from those shown on the website due to the limitations of Internet technology.
We will sell to the UK and Northern Ireland but not outside of these areas.
Once you have selected your items from the Ride a Bike website and added them to your shopping cart, Click the checkout button and follow the onscreen instructions to complete your order.

- Purchases must be paid for in full within 5 days of placing the order.
- An order confirmation email will be sent when you have placed the order through our website.
- A payment confirmation will be sent once we have received cleared funds.
- Our delivery charges are per item and are clearly stated on all listings.
Typically our larger items have a fixed courier delivery charge of £19.00, Childrens bikes have a delivery charge of £14.00.
Delivery usually takes 5 to 7 working days, during busy periods this may be extended – (UK Mainland Only)
Ride a Bike are committed to selling quality products we hope you will enjoy using, but we also know that, for one reason or another, there may be a time when you need to exchange or return something you’ve bought.
If you change your mind
If you have simply changed your mind about any item ordered and you wish to return it, then in line with the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) you can do so provided you inform us of your decision within 14 days of receipt. You understand and agree to the following –
When returning an item-
The item must not have been used/worn/ridden, and must be in ‘as new’ condition.
The item must be returned within 14 days of informing us you wish to return it.
You pay the return postage (not refundable), It’s always a good idea to get a ‘certificate of posting’ as proof that you have posted the item back to us.
The item must be securely packaged – to guarantee a full refund, it is your responsibility to ensure the item is returned to us safely & securely.
Once the item is received at Ride A Bike, we will inspect it and issue a full refund for the product & the delivery cost*, via your original payment method (within 14 days of return).
*Ride A Bike will refund the original standard delivery cost only, if you had requested an enhanced/custom delivery option then you are responsible to pay the difference.
Items Faulty on Arrival / Damaged in Transit
Upon delivery of your package, you will be asked to sign for it. Prior to signing, please try to inspect the package to check for any damage in transit. If it is not feasible to do so and you notice damage to the packaging, please write ‘Outer Package Damaged, Contents Not Yet Checked’ on the delivery note before signing so that should we need to, we can secure a claim against the courier service at a later date.
If you do find your goods are damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us ASAP on 01652 634053 or email, and we will work with you to return the damaged goods. Please do not return ‘damaged in transit’ goods to us until asked to do so, we ask that you keep all delivery paperwork. In the rare circumstance that you do need to return damaged or faulty goods, we will refund the cost of the return to us.
Once received back into our warehouse, and our technicians verify the damage/fault, we will issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method.
Items Faulty in Warranty Period
If you purchase a product from Ride a Bike which is found to be faulty we will (depending on the item) supply a replacement product, arrange for a repair or give you a refund of the purchase price as appropriate. Should a fault occur after the initial 28 days, we will resolve your concern in accordance with current consumer protection legislation.
- Warranties cover manufacturing faults and defects but do not cover damage caused by crashing, abuse, general wear and tear etc.

- For larger items we can arrange courier collection (bikes, frames etc), for smaller items we ask that you pop them into the post and we will refund any reasonable postage costs that you have incurred.
Items bought as ex-display / demo / seconds / clearance
Ex-display, demo, seconds or clearance items are usually sold at a reduced price because they have slight cosmetic blemishes/ scratches,may not be in the original product packaging, discontinued lines, production surplus or old stock. These items will have an accurate description of their condition and have all the reasons why they are not being sold as new stated clearly and pointed out before you buy them.
When you purchase one of these items, you cannot claim / return the item on the basis of the defects you bought the item with (as detailed in its description), this does not mean you cannot return the item if you discover something else wrong with it.
All returns must be securely packed in original packaging and complete.

Our items are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of twelve months from the date of original purchase or receipt as a gift.
Our ex-display, demo or seconds items are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of three months from the date of original purchase or receipt as a gift. The guarantee becomes invalid in the case of misuse, modification or repair by unauthorised persons. Should this product become defective during the warranty period, return it to us for repair or replacement without any charge to you. This guarantee in no way affects your rights under statutory law in the United Kingdom.

ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. Any use, printing or copying of materials on this website, other than in the course of browsing, selecting products and ordering from us, is strictly prohibited. Any framing of this website is prohibited.

9.2. Registration and Newsletter
Registration is required to use our website. To speed up future purchases and avoid retyping your details you should register with us and we will store your personal details securely with access protected by a user name and password. We send all new members a welcoming e-mail to verify Username and password. When registering you may opt to receive regular newsletters, marketing information, special offers and website updates from us. If you wish to receive these without ordering please register anyway. If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter or promotional materials you may opt-out of receiving these communications by e-mailing us.
9.3. Links to / from 3rd party websites
We are not responsible for and accept no liability for the content or privacy practices of any linked website which is not owned and maintained by us. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our website and to read the privacy statements of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information.
10. Notification of Changes
The contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
